Job Description:

ModernfoldStyles, Inc. is seeking a professional, confident, energetic and unafraid of challenges Architectural Sales Representative. This is an exciting position for a dynamic, self-starter with the opportunity to help grow the Architectural Sales department. He/she will be responsible for expanding and promoting ModernfoldStyles flexible, high-quality Glass Wall Systems and Movable Wall Partitions to the A&D Community, specifiers, and construction management firms. The successful candidate will have a positive “can-do” attitude, proactive in demonstrating initiative, excellent client relationship building, deadline-driven, and solutions-oriented. Primary roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Primary Roles:

  • Professionally represent ModernfoldStyles heightening product awareness and expanding reach within the territories of New York and New Jersey
  • Identify, cultivate, and nurture potential clients to generate quality leads and increase sales
  • Communicate with key stakeholders adhering to the company’s brand identity, mission and business goals
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing department


  • Develop and build relationships with architects, interior designers, spec writers, owners, as well as general contractors to increase preference and demand for the company’s products
  • Identify programs to proactively engage the A&D community, general contractors, and clients for potential leads
  • Help architectural sales grow the business and increase sales
  • Conduct product and AIA accredited presentations to the A&D communities, specifiers, and CM groups to influence the specification early in the design stages
  • Plan and organize strategic networking and trade show events, and Showroom + Acoustic Design Lab tours
  • Develop key sales metrics and actively enter and track daily architectural sales activity and goals in Salesforce, and produce monthly activity and sales reports or as requested
  • Integral part of the Marketing team in the development of sales, marketing, and promotional material; participate in developing strategies and tactical implementation
  • Maintain print and electronic product marketing material and samples for presentations
  • Analyze market potential and competitive marketplace providing recommendations on an ongoing basis
  • Attend internal architectural sales, marketing and project management meetings as well as required meetings with external customers as deemed necessary
  •  75% regional travel, valid driver’s license is required


  • A minimum of 5 years of Architectural Sales or Account Executive experience working closely with the A&D community
  • Strong client relations, interpersonal, and communications skills
  • Understanding of space management design solutions and technical product specifications
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding contract documents (blueprints, specifications, etc.)
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on providing solutions and the customer experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and an acute attention to details with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Must be a team player as well as the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in desktop and iPad applications (Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Dropbox)
