Construction Project Manager

Job Description:

ModernfoldStyles, Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager to handle a range of projects in the New York City Metropolitan area. This position will be based out of the South Hackensack, NJ headquarters, and will require frequent travel to various jobsites. The right candidate will be trained on a range of specialty custom products. All project managers are supported by senior project managers, top notch administrators, and well-equipped installation crews.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Handle multiple projects in different stages of completion
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Report and escalate to senior project managers as needed
  • Field measure, order, and schedule installations for all ModernfoldStyles product lines
  • Organize and maintain all projects and project documentation

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized with a keen sense to detail
  • Able to multitask on a daily basis
  • Must be able to read and interpret basic shop drawings
  • Must be able to take accurate measurements
  • Possess a basic understanding of construction
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere

We’re looking for a talented Service Technician to join our Service Division.

ModernfoldStyles, Inc. is recognized within the industry as the leader in flexible and innovative Space Management Design Solutions providing glass wall systems, operable partitions and fire + smoke containment systems for commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work hand in hand with our team of service technicians
  • Installing new hardware and complex products while ensuring that they work correctly and safely
  • Perform repairs on faulty products as soon as possible
  • Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
  • Handle Service visits
  • Complete essential responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to travel and cover Northern New Jersey territory and New York territory

 

Requirements:

  • Mechanical background and experience
  • Carpentry / HVAC experience preferred
  • Must have your own form of transportation
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • Knowledge of operable partitions, glass walls and fire + smoke containment systems a plus
