Children’s Ministry Transformed into Biblical Town with Custom-Painted Modernfold Acousti-Seal Premier

Living Faith Christian Church is located in Farmingdale, New York. This state-of-the-art religious facility was designed to provide churchgoers with a unique environment to practice their religion.

On the lower level of the church is a unique Children’s Ministry built for connection, entertainment, and education. The immersive design allows children in first through fifth grade to explore faith through an intricately detailed Biblical town. This provides an unparalleled, faith-based learning experience.

To maximize the usability of the center and deliver a flexible solution, the organization selected ModernfoldStyles to install a Modernfold Acousti-Seal Premier paired panel partition. When in use, this system creates a sound-dampening barrier between the movie theater and the main gathering space. On the other hand, when the partition is completely stacked, the two rooms merge to form a versatile, large-scale area for fellowship, events, and parties.

Featuring steel 4-wheel ball-bearing trolleys, the panels glide effortlessly along the #17 HD Bracket Mount track system, enabling swift and easy transformation of the 18-foot-wide by 9-foot-10-inch-high wall.

Fixed top seals and automatic 2-inch bottom seals, paired with an expandable panel closure method operated by a crank handle, secure the 47 STC sound rating. This configuration separates sound, ensuring adjacent areas can be used simultaneously without interruption.

What makes this installation stand out is the lifelike mural of a historic town. The uncovered MDF board panel skins were painted by Sal & Nancy Decorative Paintings, setting a scene to immerse children in their religious education.
