Smart Space for Smarter Tech:
CoreWeave’s Adaptive Meeting Room with Automated Partitioning
CoreWeave, a leader in generative AI cloud services, is grounded in innovation and forward-thinking. As the company expands, so does the need for spaces that can keep pace with its fast-moving, dynamic environment.

The workspace was transformed in partnership with ModernfoldStyles, HLW Architecture LLC, and Eastman Construction Co., Inc., using Modernfold Encore Automated Electric Partition. The result is a smart, adaptable meeting environment that reflects their forward-thinking mission and empowers productivity through purposeful design. With effortless operation, this movable wall can divide the area in minutes, making it a hub for work efficiency.

The 22′-1 1/4″ W x 8′-2″ H solution is a natural fit for the demands of the workspace. Its intuitive design makes it an ideal solution for boosting functionality and supporting day-to-day operations.
The #30 track system allows the steel ball-bearing trolleys to operate smoothly from one end of the room to the other, ensuring smooth, reliable space separation.

The partition features a Modernfold Maharam Tek-Wall Tint 004 Tin finish that complements the room’s overall aesthetic. Black hinges and trim provide a clean contrast, maintaining aesthetic consistency while allowing the wall to disappear into the space subtly.
Each of the five panels includes a whiteboard, supporting both impromptu brainstorming and structured meetings, enabling collaboration and enhancing usability.

The wall delivers a 56 STC rating and offers excellent noise control. Its sound-separating capabilities effectively create two distinct areas that can be used independently for different needs.
The black Sureset Automatic Top and Bottom Seals further improve acoustic performance, helping contain noise on either side of the partition.

To prioritize safety, the system requires two individuals to activate the switches simultaneously, minimizing the risk of accidental operation and ensuring proper oversight before use. A key mechanism is used to control the wall’s movement, allowing it to extend or retract as needed, while also providing the ability to lock the wall when necessary.

Proper operation requires the pocket doors to be fully opened to 180 degrees and kept free of obstructions.

To convert the space into one large conference room, the partition stacks behind two pocket doors, designed to blend into the surrounding walls and remain virtually unnoticeable.

This newfound adaptability empowers CoreWeave’s team to maintain efficiency while driving innovation in modern technology.
