Danznik Studios located in Manhattan takes care to provide a personalized dance experience for all. When renovating their space, great attention was taken to ensure acoustic barriers were in place for dancers to be able to participate in different rooms without hearing any surrounding music.

The Modernfold Encore Single Panel Operational Wall System was essential to honor the purpose of the dance studio and keep the routines from interfering with one another.

Danznik Studios provides a wide range of opportunities for dancers of various levels and styles and the layout needed to do the same. This flexible wall system quickly and easily turns the large ballroom into two private rooms for when additional private space is required.

When not in use, the Modernfold Encore Panels tuck easily out of sight, leaving the full space clear for even the most exuberant routine.

Wanting to enhance the various lighting fixtures, it was essential the top track did not interfere with the current lighting system.

Customizable to location, this Smart Track system helps seal in the sound while navigating through the various features found on the ceiling that are used to enhance the dancer’s experience and envelop them in their routine while keeping them cool.

The panels easily and securely lock into place to provide ultimate privacy. Their smooth edges also provide safety when moving or partially in place.

With a 56 STC, the wall is acoustically sound, durable, and provides seamless top to bottom coverage; perfect to get swept away with the music.

The simple door pull and crank create easy to use functionality. No arm strength required!

Stored separately, the panels lock together to provide easy mobility and functionality when used.

The Modernfold Encore system also allows the panels to be separated, providing a view to the room beyond and showing the adaptability of the system to fit most situations.

In addition to the Modernfold Encore creating more options for dancers to strut their stuff, ZONA Glass Wall Systems was installed to enhance the features of the studio.

The ZONA 3 double glazed system located across from the reception area permeates light throughout the studio, creating an openness playing off the large windows found at the front of the building. With 1 ½” high profiles and 40 STC provided by the ZONA Wall Systems to enable full immersion for the dancers, it’s easy to get swept away with the routine.

The ZONA 2 single glazed pivot door system graces the entrance, giving a glimpse of the surrounding artwork before entering the studio.

Easily able to fit in any location, this door system fit comfortably into the existing area, ensuring sounds won’t accidentally escape the studio. With it’s easy to turn handle, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better solution.
