This office, located just a few streets from renowned sites such as City Hall and the Liberty Bell, offers a unique perspective on the city’s architectural heritage. In collaboration with CosciaMoos, ModernfoldStyles has tailored its meeting space with ZONA Glass Wall Systems, revolutionizing the design and functionality of their working environment.

Within the office’s blend of traditional architecture and contemporary flair, marked by captivating graffiti-inspired murals, our team at ModernfoldStyles discovered a unique fusion of styles. The simplicity and modern aesthetic of ZONA Glass Wall Systems effortlessly integrated into the industrial-inspired design elements, creating a harmonious mix of tradition and modernity.

ZONA 1 stood out as the ideal choice for the conference room. Its adaptability in terms of dimensions, glass thickness, panel types, and STC ratings, combined with the convenience of a movable partition, made it the top pick for CosciaMoos Architecture. The configuration included a sliding door single-glazed partition, featuring 7/16″ McGrory fixed glass adorned with a distinctive fluted pattern, complemented by ½” low iron tempered glass doors.

Opting for low iron tempered glass doors was a strategic choice. While standard glass tends to have a natural green tint, low iron tempered glass minimizes iron levels in the molten glass formula, resulting in unparalleled clarity. This design choice not only facilitated brilliant, unobstructed views but also enhanced the overall brightness of the space, surpassing the limits of traditional glass.

Our client selected the 84″ non-locking ladder pulls with a sleek black finish, harmonizing with the door’s black anodized color. The use of these non-locking handles showcased the smooth sliding of the glass door along the Hawa 120A System, a quiet and efficient sliding solution that prioritizes ease of use.

The ZONA 1 single-glazed system enhanced CosciaMoos’ acoustics in their conference room, ensuring that meetings could proceed without external disturbances. Its higher visible light transmittance, created an optimal environment, while brush seals on the sliding door frame contributed to effective sound control.
